Whilst our run leaders will make every effort to ensure that all runners are safe on our runs, and we encourage you to notify them of any medical details they may need to know to help in that regard, members take part at their own risk. It is recommended that members who have pre-existing medical conditions consult with their GP prior to taking part in any runs to ensure that they run within their ability and reflecting any medical advice they've been given.

From time to time, Dorchester RIOT use photography and video to promote the activity of the club and to celebrate the achievements of club members. Photography and videos will primarily be used on the club's social media and in club newsletters. If you have any concern please inform inform run leaders of your preference. Group photos are often also planned so that there is sufficient oppertunity to step out of frame if desired. We cannot however be held responsible for non-club related photography taken at RIOT and non-RIOT events.

We are a social running club who love to celebrate our member's, so we very much hope that you agree to be included.

When you become a member of or renew your membership with Dorchester RIOT you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics. We will provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your myAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). It is vital, therefore, that a valid email address is given, so that you can ensure that your data is correct and so that you can set your own privacy settings.

Dorchester RIOT use email to enable the efficient running of the club for membership and other administration purposes. It is essential therefore, that a valid email is given at the point of joining.

Our club is run by volunteers, and we are always looking for new people to come and support club activity. We provide training and support for all new volunteers.
